ARCHLine.XP may not start, project opening dialog may not come up, 3D Warehouse downloading may not work.
Upgrading to Windows 10 system could cause a lot of problems, especially with the missing .dll files. Exactly this problem occured to some users who recently upgraded their systems to Windows 10. Reportedly, people are complaining that ARCHLine does not start or some functions do not work after the upgrade. Here we show solutions for that.
When you start ARCHLine.XP, you may get the following message:
On 64-bit windows operating system you have to download msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files and then copy these files to c:\Windows\System32 folder, overwriting the existing 32-bit versions of msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files (the file sizes are different). Before doing that, it is strongly advised to archive the copies of the existing msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files, so later you can set back the original state of your system, if necessary. The 64-bit versions of msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files are available to download here in a zip file: MSVCX100_64.zip
Other users reported that project opening dialog and downloading object from 3D Warehouse did not work in ARCHLine.XP 2015 or earlier versions. To solve the problem, you have to copy the 32-bit versions of msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll in the installation folder of ARCHLine.XP (typically c:\Program Files\ARCHline.XP 2015 in case of ARCHLine.XP 2015). The 32-bit versions of msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files are available to download here in a zip file: MSVCX100_x86.zip
