The CadLine Releases ARCHline.XP® 2009 R2
Budapest, HU – Jun 12, 2009 – The CadLine announces the upcoming release in June 2009 an updated ("R2") version of ARCHLine.XP® 2009.
As an "R2" release, this revision does not constitute a full new release of the ARCHLine.XP (the release number remains 2009), and the release mostly focuses on minor changes such as bug fixes, and vendor-supplied updates. However, unlike a typical patch release, this ARCHLine.XP release does include a number of new features and system enhancements according to customer wish lists and feedbacks.
This document describes most of the user-visible enhancements and new features in the ARCHLine.XP® 2009 R2:
· High-quality Rendering engine is updated into ARCHLine.XP® 2009 R2 —
The new built-in LightWorks 8.0 rendering engine includes ray-tracing, Global Illumination technology. The photorealistic engine allows to render scenes look like photographs with a high level of realism that wasn't possible before. Some of the new features:
-Support of multi-threading, so rendering uses as many processors as many you have.
-Realistic Sun - Sun definition follows your geographical position.
-Global Illumination provides the ability to simulate the way in which real world scenes are lit by direct lights and by indirect diffuse lights as well.
-Bump Mapping: add more realism to images without adding a lot of geometry.
-Interior and exterior templates for different lighting conditions.
These examples are made using Global Illumination:

· High resolution printing for DirectX 3D modelwindow — ARCHline.XP 2009 R2 improved the direct printing quality for 3D model printing. The new 2009 R2 release draws your scene to a print−resolution frame buffer then send the bitmap data to the printer directly. This way the 3D image printing quality is significantly better and comparable to vectorial printing quality.
· Combine 2D floor plan with 3D model —Using this new feature you can represent your 2D floor plan in the 3D model space as well, the components of the floor plan − simple vector entities like lines, polygons, arcs, dimensions − are visible together with your 3D model. This way you can visualize the imported source data, such as DXF and DWG files or imported sketches together with the newly created building model containing walls, windows, doors, columns and other objects

.· Section – Partial section view – Use the section line to indicate the division between the sectioned and not sectioned part of your model.
· Section – Zero depth section – With ARCHline.XP 2009 R2 you can define sections where the parts of the model directly cut by the section line are only visible. The model behind the section line is not represented in this view.
· External Reference – new Move XREF command – XREF allows to many users to work on individual components of a project. As XREF can be updated, added, or unattached to the project the new Move command enables to relocate an XREF easily according to the user needs.
· Dimension – enhanced Set manager – The universal dimension set is divided into more sets according to the various type of dimensions. It helps you to create more sophisticated property setting to the following dimension types: Length, Door, Window, Elevation, Angle, Label, Radius and Area dimensions.
· DWGenhancement – The DXF/DWG export enables to redefine the color model as following: Original colors, Black and white, Grayscale.
· Tiling – improved user friendly interface – The user interface of the Tiling module has changed and integrated into ARCHLine.XP® 2009 Toolbox structure providing fast navigation among the sophisticated tiling commands.
· Tiling – managing complex patterns – Using the new tiling pattern definition you can easily create unique tiling patterns and place it later as a tiling unit. The unit can contains tiles with various shapes, textures and profiles.

· Tiling – on terrain – Tiling is enhanced to terrain surfaces from ARCHLine.XP® 2009 R2. You can easily create tiling on ramps, walking zone around your building, or other external places as well.
· Room book – Show the calculated volume in 3D – The calculated volume displayed as 3D model. This feature makes easy to control the calculated m3 value.
