ARCHline.XP is a computer-aided design (CAD) software program developed by CadLine, Hungary and used for designing architectural project from scratch to permit and construction drawings and related documents. The program is used to design new buildings, interior design, surveying and reconstruction works as well.

ARCHline.XP includes an industrial strength 2D CAD command set, complete architectural 2D/3D objects such as walls, doors, windows, slabs, stairs, roofs, objects, terrain, and surveyed rooms. Macros, applications in Pascal language allows you to create customized functions, or to use functions developed by other users.
 

The 3D model is generated out of floor plan, and sections, elevations are continuously updated. The building model is editable both in 2D and 3D views.
 

Presentation capabilities support all phases of the design process, even 3D model integration in real photos.
 

ARCHline.XP is using LightWorks Rendering Engine made by LightWork Design. Rendering supports advanced visual features including high performing photorealistic rendering with super-sampling anti-aliasing.
 

ARCHLine.XP imports and exports the DWG data format - used commonly by architects, engineers, designers, and virtually all CAD-related software applications. ARCHLine.XP uses the latest DWGdirect libraries, based on the industry standard OpenDWG, which is widely supported by commercial software vendors, and the engineering community. ARCHLine.XP reads, and writes DWG 2007 files.
 

The ARCHline.XP supports DWG, DXF, DWF, 3DS, C4D, VRML, OBJ, TGF, EMF, JPG, TIF, GIF and BMP file formats.
 

ARCHLine.XP provides cost estimation calculations so you can be informed continuously even during the design process by assigning cost parameters to the architectural elements. You can prepare cost estimations with quantitative reports subtotaling the categories in Excel format, which enables the data to be processed later.

Standard offers the following functionality:

Terrain and volumetric

Terrain Model is a 3D model computed from a set of data points. Once the 3D model  has been created, zones, plateaus, roads, volumes are available. The combination of architectural design and modeling of terrain allows you to create town mock-ups.

Rendering with ray-tracing

ARCHline.XP® has expanded its capability for customers to create photorealistic images by incorporating ultimate rendering technology. ARCHline.XP® is using LightWorks Rendering Engine made by LightWork Design the world's leading supplier of rendering solutions.

Tiling

The tiling has special importance in interior design. Using this module you can create tiling layouts by defining the tile dimensions and the distance between tiles, or customized tiles can be designed and placed. With the help of detailed lists you can get quantitative information about floor tiles on slabs, walls and room sides.

Animation, Virtual reality, Building animation.

1. Animate movement through the 3D model following a path. 2. The construction animation in ARCHLine.XP® makes enable to simulate the build up of a building. This way you can play an animation like a "virtual construction" to your client.

Comparative drawing

In the design process, mainly in the case of building reconstruction plans, it is often required to show both the current state and the future plan on the same drawing. The program is suitable for representing the items of the original drawing and the new items with different colours, so you can easy follow the changes like demolished walls or relocated windows, by colours. Comparison can be made between two floor plans or two 3D views. Of course, any other 2D drawings can be compared.
