HOW CAN I GET AN ARCHLINE.XP LT LICENSE?

You can get an ARCHLine.XP LT Perpetual License in a few different ways:

Tip: Perpetual licenses are great for those who prefer the idea of “owning” their software instead of “renting” it through a subscription. The price does not include an upgrade for the following years, but includes three month of free Maintenance & Support to keep you up to date.

After three month of purchasing a perpetual license for ARCHLine.XP LT, you may need to have an active maintenance plan to receive software updates and technical support.

With a Single-User License, you authorise ARCHLine.XP LT to run on one computer. You can transfer the license to another computer but only one is actively using the license at any one time.

Steps to get ARCHLine.XP LT: If you’re interested ARCHLine.XP LT but aren’t ready to purchase a license yet, download the free ARCHLine.XP LT trial.
With the trial, you can run the full version of ARCHLine.XP LT for 30 days from registration. After a 30-day free trial period, you need to buy a license and activate the software to continue using it.

Warning: ARCHLine.XP LT licenses use a cloud-based licensing server, so you need to have an Internet connection to activate the license. Otherwise, ARCHLine.XP LT won’t work. See Understanding your license type later for details.

WHAT KIND OF ARCHLINE.XP LT LICENSE TYPES ARE THERE?

You can use ARCHLine.XP LT with a single-user license or a network license.

  • A single-user license works on one computer.  You need to have a computer using a Windows operating system. As long as your computer is compatible with ARCHLine.XP LT, your single-user license will function. For the license to work, your computer needs to have an active Internet connection as you run ARCHLine.XP LT.
If you purchased a license at full price or have an educational license through our education licensing program, you will receive a single-user license or "seat".
  • A network license has a pool of seats that a given number of computers may use at the same time. For the license to work, your computer needs to have an active Internet connection as you run ARCHLine.XP LT.
  • Schools may use an educational license. The Education License expires on December 31st of the following year and cannot be run further.

Tip: If the license does not work, check what type of license you have and whether you need permission to allow an app through firewall or whether you have an active Internet connection on your computer for ARCHLine.XP LT.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY ARCHLINE.XP LT LICENSE SERIAL NUMBER?

When your purchase an ARCHLine.XP LT license, you receive an email from Cadline or local reseller that contains your license details, which include the serial number.

If you can’t find this message by searching your email messages or by looking in your email software’s spam or junk folder, you can retrieve your license information online.

If you have downloaded, installed, and activated ARCHLine.XP LT, follow the next steps to retrieve your license information:

To find your ARCHLine.XP LT license information, please do the following:

  1. Launch ARCHLine.XP LT.
  2. Browse to the Help menu at the right-top of your screen.
  3. Select About from the drop-down menu.
  4. You'll see the dialog box. Here you find the Serial number.

Press the Save as button to save all info into a .txt file.

HOW CAN I ACTIVATE MY LICENSE?

Activating your license enables ARCHLine.XP LT registered version (non-trial version) to run on your computer.

Whether you have a single-user or network license, follow these steps to activate your copy of ARCHLine.XP LT:

  1. Open the license confirmation email that you received after purchasing your license.
  2. In the email, copy your serial number.
  3. Launch ARCHLine.XP LT.
  1. Browse to the Help menu at the right-top of your screen. Select Add License from the drop-down menu.
  1. In the dialog box, paste the serial number into the Serial Number text box. The OK button remains disabled until the serial number is invalid.
  2. Click the Ok button, and ARCHLine.XP LT downloads a license file from the cloud to your computer.

If you have a network license, ARCHLine.XP LT works on a Windows after you (or more likely, your network administrator) activate the network license — as long as no more than the allowed number of seats are in use. After you activate ARCHLine.XP LT, the software works as long as a seat is available. If you see a message that says Sorry, there are too many people using ARCHLine.XP LT at the moment, all your available seats are in use, you can wait until a seat becomes available or contact your network administrator for help.

  2. Internet connection is required.
  1. Browse to the Help menu at the right-top of your screen. Select Deactivate License from the drop-down menu.
  1. A confirmation dialog box appears.
  2. Click the Ok button to confirm that you want to deactivate your license.

After you deactivate a license, you can transfer your license to another computer.

What is deactivation?

Deactivation is disconnecting an application from a valid user license. You can deactivate an application without uninstalling it from your computer, and you can reactivate it later.
