Powerful Opportunities in Design
ARCHLine.XP 2016 comes with an integrated interface joining the Architectural and Interior Design user interface.
The new DirectX11 graphic update provides a smoothing design experience in 3D. Directx11 exploits the latest in video hardware features.
Last but not least: you should check out the brand new rendering module! It is up to the designer - use it all of them or just some?
Top New Features:
New in 2016: Professional Rendering quality
The integrated 2D backgrounds and panoramic HDR images provides lifelike background. You can open your unique view photos and HRD background (so-called spherical panoramas) as well.
BIM That Works for You
ARCHLine.XP 2016 provides powerful BIM solutions to fit your workflow and address your BIM needs.
ARCHLine.XP is equipped with a fully integrated Open BIM interface and provides the ideal basis for an intelligent and multi-disciplinary data exchange with architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders.ct.
The standard BIM file format is the IFC, which contains all building information data gathered from or added to the project and this same format can be used during the whole life-span of the building.
IFC is a universal and manufacturer-independent industry standard file format for data exchange.
ARCHLine.XP 2016 support the IFC 2x3 standard file format, which guarantees an efficient and good quality data and model exchange between CAD/BIM applications.
One of the biggest values of the IFC format is that the architectural items keep their types and properties in it. The walls, slabs, and other architectural items remain walls, slabs, etc. with the same properties when you open them in another BIM software - there might be little differences because of technological reasons.
The IFC-based data exchange exceeds the nowadays widely used DXF or DWG based data exchange and this means you can export and import a lot more information using IFC than using the regular drawing file formats.
Woodwork framing design
You can set up detailed settings for the wall structure when designing the woodwork wall framing. You can work with specific layouts defining the distribution rules within the wall and of course you can use any kind of (even custom designed) cross sections.
Setting up the header and sill for the foors and windows is just as easy as defining othere structural items. Changing the size of a door or window will automatically update the inner structure of the wall based on the rules defined. You can easily store these settings into the so-called styles which makes it very easy to use them in other projects or even share with other designers. Cutout - Recess - Attachment - Niche
Recess or niche is a void element hosted in the wall, slab, column and beam, where the thickness of the recess is smaller or equal to the thickness of the wall, slab, column and beam. Recess in wall works similar to window or door when you place it into the wall. You can edit its profile, sill height, texture and distances from the wall endpoints.
You can freely edit the contours on the plan. You can easily change the depth of the recess or the attachment or you can create a cutout into the slab.
Beam and Column features
Column and Beam with parametric recess and cutouts
Column and Beam has been greatly improved with a completely parametric implementation of recess and cut-out. Using the subtraction operations you can have greater control over your wooden or reinforced concrete structures.
