Introduction

My name is Szilvia Qerimi-Németi. I graduated from the Stílusház Interior Design School in June 2025. Since then, together with a fellow graduate, we have launched our own interior design business, Natura Home Design, where we focus on natural solutions. Our goal is to create personalized, harmonious, and organic homes in our future projects.

Graduation project summary:

Japandi Harmony in the Szendrei Family Home

The family’s conscious, nature-oriented lifestyle inspired the design of their two-level home and the adjoining Qwell Spa. The spa on the lower level is dedicated to physical and mental rejuvenation, using natural materials and a calm atmosphere, while the upper level accommodates a bright, Japandi-style family home. By removing walls, a spacious, open-plan kitchen–dining–living area was created as the setting for shared moments. The functional layout is divided into three parts: a communal zone, a parents’ bedroom area, and a separate teenager’s room. Natural wood, stone-effect surfaces, limewash walls, and delicate textiles create a unity of Japanese serenity and Scandinavian coziness—resulting in a clean, harmonious family living space where everyone has their own personal world.
